Who / What is Hotel Zed?
They are ridiculously fun & eclectic hip hotels in Victoria BC and Kelowna that are so completely awesome your mind will be blown! Ok, slight exaggeration, but we swear it’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before: vintage VW and retro Chevy shuttle buses, rotary dial phones,typewriter stations, comic books in the brightly colored rooms… they are self proclaimed Rebels Against the Ordinary.
Secretly, they are the people behind Accent Inns (their sister chain with 5 hotels in BC) and they had this crazy idea of starting a funky hotel that was actually affordable, right in their hometown of Victoria and then soon expanded to Kelowna. Their boutique hotels are super cool, kickass, edgy, but totally down-to-earth and not pretentious. Fun, playful and approachable, that’s who they are.

They didn’t want to create one of those funky, super expensive designer boutique hotels where the front desk guy is way too concerned about twirling his waxed moustache than making you feel welcome. Instead, their people are authentic, genuine, open-hearted and completely themselves. No scripts, no pompous.
What Makes Zed Different
There’s no beige at Zed, as they are the antithesis of a ho-hum hotel stay, something which no one should tolerate! The rooms are freakin’ fantastic with beautiful, bright colors, design décor and far-out amenities like high tech media hubs and comic books in the bathroom .
The lobby is a stunningly cool living room with a vinyl listening station, typewriters, awesome free coffee and a ping pong lounge below. Star-lit hot tub, indoor outdoor pool, waterslide, vintage VW shuttle bus and even free bike rentals…We believe that life should be lived to the fullest and every experience cherished, that’s Hotel Zed.
